Fernandinho took the main part in a very prosperuos night for City in Europe.

Just as our captain said: ”FINALLY”! This word best describes our feelings. The time has finally come to be real City in Europe.

Last night performance just improved our squad and our abilities to really achieve something more in this competition. Every player on the pitch had a great evening. Three of them have scored and thanks to their goals, City are now top of the Champions League group D. And not only that, but we passed in the second stage of the competition with two games in a hand. Realistic ? Yes, but also one beautiful dream. No nightmares anymore. Let’s hope that we can continue this kind of a form and tactics so we wouldn’t have to look back in anger. And in the game against Spanish opponent, there is absolutely nothing to regret for. We did a brilliant job.

One of our best men and our man of the match, Brazilian Fernandinho’s had an amazing night scoring one stunning header and being in almost every action City had. Ever since he signed for Manchester Blues, his kind of a play told us that even then he was going to be our main character in many upcoming and important games. A last night peformance only improved what he’s already had in his feet for a long time and made the night even better.

Our youngest first team scorer in UCL, Sterling just love being able to wear that beautiful jersey. A game against Bournemouth and his hattrick showed that he definitely has a great potential to become one of the best, well like if he isn’t already.

It wouldn’t be fair not to mention Wilfried Bony, who’s actually having his best days since he came at the Etihad stadium. And he said that he’s sorry for not being as good as he could’ve been in the last season, but now he really came stronger. Way to go, Wilfrie!

Navas and Fernando also had their impacts on the win. Critics are critics, but what would you say when there’s no place for them anymore ? When every single spot is filled with the credits. Lots of them.

Remember, remember the third of November could easily become one of the favourite City chants because it’s a date when we finally found ourselves in Europe. Is it going to last forever ? I certainly hope so because, you know once we score it’s hard to stop us, right ?

Is it finally time for City to be the best England team in Europe ? And maybe even progressing to the finals of the competition ?

We’ll soon find out!

Come on, City.
